Where you can use Kokar

Kokar runs in a browser, and that is all it needs. If you live in it all day though, you can install it as an app on your computer — same Kokar, its own window.

Browser or installed app?

Both are the same product. The difference is the window around it.

Side by side, the difference is what is not there. Installed, Kokar gets:

• The whole window. No address bar, no bookmarks, no tab strip — a screen or two more of your actual work.
• Its own icon in the dock, taskbar or Start menu, so it opens like any other app instead of being hunted for among twenty tabs.
• Its own place when you switch windows, so Kokar is never the tab you lost behind fifteen others.
• No accidental closes. Nothing next to a close button that also closes six other things.

Everything else is identical — same features, same data, same login. You can use both on the same machine.

Install it on Chrome

Kokar opens in its own window from then on, and you will find it wherever your computer keeps its apps.

Mobile

A Kokar mobile app is coming. Until it arrives, Kokar works in your phone's browser, and you can add it to your home screen the same way — Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone, or the Install app prompt in Chrome on Android.

Frequently asked questions

Do I have to install anything?

No. Kokar works fully in a browser. Installing it is a matter of preference, not access.

Does it work offline?

No. Kokar needs a connection either way — installing does not make it work on a plane.

How do I remove it?

Uninstall it like any other app on your computer. Nothing in your workspace is affected; it is only the window that goes away.

Is there an iPhone or Android app?

Not yet — it is on the way. In the meantime Kokar works in a mobile browser, and can be added to your home screen the same way.
