AI connections (MCP)
Connect Kokar to Claude and other AI apps so they can read and manage your workspace in plain language.
Kokar speaks MCP β the Model Context Protocol, the open standard AI apps use to talk to the tools you already work in. Connect your workspace once and you can ask an AI assistant to look things up and get things done without leaving the conversation:
- "What's overdue in Kokar?"
- "Create a task 'Draft the Q3 proposal' in Client Onboarding, due next Friday, and assign it to Dara."
- "Summarise the comments on the launch checklist task."
Available on paid plans
MCP connections are part of the Standard, Business and Enterprise plans. They are not available on Free β see Billing & plans.
What a connection covers
A connection covers one workspace at a time β the one you pick when you approve it.
Inside that workspace, the AI app has exactly the permissions you have, and no others.
Removing someone removes their AI access
Deactivating or removing a member instantly cuts off any AI app they had connected. There is no separate list to remember to clean up.
Setting one up
Connect Claude
Add Kokar as a custom connector in Claude, step by step.
Capabilities
Everything a connected AI app can do, and the permission each one needs.
Managing connections
Every AI app you have connected is listed in Kokar under Settings β Connected apps, with the workspace it was granted and when it was approved. Revoking one there cuts it off immediately: the next request that app makes fails, and it has to be approved again from scratch.
